Night Auditor

Job SummaryThe Night Auditor is responsible for performing close of day scenarios for the hotel Front Office and account for daily activity by organizing and verifying information; identifying and correcting discrepancies; posting accounts; running and distributing daily reports.What will I be doing?As a Night Auditor, you would be responsible for performing including but not limited to the following tasks to the highest standards:Detailed Job DutiesTo follow all specified procedures to audit the shift closing of all front office staffTo produce accurate and timely reports and correctly handle all cash transactionsTo follow all specified procedures to reconcile cashier’s reports with the restaurant system each night, researching and posting any unresolved tickets from the day shifts.Balance and audit for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier’s reports, and guest and house accounts and telephone revenue; assisting the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.Transmit credit card batches.Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documentsPerform all Front Desk Agent functions as required;Responsible for checking in and out of hotel guests, creating walk- in and booking call-in reservations, answering hotel phone calls, answering general guest questions following Brand standards.This position will work closely with Breckenridge Emergency Services assisting with guest emergencies and evacuations during night time hours.Respond to, and assist guests with housekeeping related requestsAssist housekeeping department with light stocking and cleaning as neededCommunicate with overnight security as neededEnsure PCI compliance and computer security when on shiftMay assist with other duties as assigned.Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and AbilityYou must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that you can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills (English)Excellent organizational skillsProfessional and politeMinimum 1 experience in Front Desk / Night Audit role.General accounting knowledgeMicrosoft Office and ONQ knowledgeAbilityAbility to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holiday.Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, and cooperativenessAbility to be self-motivated and work at a fast paceAbility to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlinesAbility to clearly communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard, calculator and other office equipment.The employee must have the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.The employee is expected to bend stoop, squat, kneel, climb and crawl, depending upon work tasks and to lift up to 25 lbs. when lifting ,helping guest with luggage, and moving office supplies.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.EducationAny combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
