Senior Registered NurseThe Senior Registered Nurse will provide nursing services as part of an inter-disciplinary team to a diverse patient population.QualificationsEducation Required: A graduate of an accredited School of NursingLicenses Required: Licensed to practice Professional Nursing in New York StateExperience/Skills: Experience in assigned area preferredRequired: Successful completion of St. Barnabas Hospital Orientation ProgramMental and physical health to meet the demands of the position.ER, ICU, RR Nurses are required ACLS Certification within one (1) year of employment.One year Med-Surg experienced required for ER and ICU assignment.PALS certification required in Pediatrics area within one (1) year of employment.Working ConditionsThirty-seven and one half hours (37 ½) per week, hours as assigned.Job HazardsLifting and moving heavy patients and beds.NeedlesticksExposure to communicable diseases.
