Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Travel Stick Welder to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. As a Travel Stick Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our projects while traveling to different job sites. All travel costs are covered, per diem is involved and will be discussed throughout the interview process. The main company is located in Louisville, Kentucky and you will be working in shop from time to time. With that being said we are looking for someone located around the Kentucky area. Responsibilities Perform stick welding on various materials and structures in accordance with project specifications. Travel to job sites as required, ensuring timely and efficient completion of welding tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards. Conduct quality inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus. Proven experience as a stick welder, preferably in a travel capacity. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
