Loan Operations Specialist

Summary: Responsible for booking and keying incoming loans, renewals, and modifications into the Bank's core loan system. Responsible for ensuring all loans are booked to the system in a timely and accurate manner. Principal Accountabilities 60% Book and key all incoming loans, renewals, and modifications into the Bank's core loan system. 10% Review all loans, modifications and renewals that are keyed to ensure they are on the system correctly and there are no errors. 10% Balance GL accounts associated with loans, perform loan related research, work credit bureau disputes, create SBA reports and complete other duties as assigned by the department manager. 20% Assist branch personnel with all system related questions. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED and 2 years of loan operations and bank systems experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Qualifications Working experience with booking loans, loan systems and loan documentation. Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently. Detail oriented, self‑motivated, and excellent organizing and prioritizing skills. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge with Word, Excel, and Access.
