Requirements & Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Current NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification

Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or ability to obtain prior to performing duties

Current BLS certification

Ability to travel between assigned physician offices

Comfortable working independently after training

Must Haves

Create a reassuring, conversational experience for patients who may be anxious about testing

Adapt quickly to different physicians, office teams, workflows, and daily patient volumes

Perform cardiac SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging and troubleshoot image-quality concerns

Handle venipuncture, radiopharmaceutical administration, radiation safety, and patient documentation

Take ownership of equipment readiness, supplies, patient flow, and day-to-day issues without constant supervision

Represent the organization professionally while working within client physician practices

Preferred Background & Skills

Cardiac SPECT or nuclear cardiology experience

Physician-office or outpatient imaging experience

Experience with Philips, Siemens C-Cam, GE, or comparable nuclear imaging systems

Familiarity with 4DM, Oasis, DICOM, and PACS

Strong venipuncture and direct patient-care skills
