We work across a variety of different industries and one of the first global leaders in our space that is constantly innovating and working with the latest technologies.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager focused on internal tooling and platform capabilities to improve developer productivity, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will own the roadmap and delivery of internal platforms and services primarily on GCP, partnering closely with engineering, data platform, security, and business stakeholders to design, build, and iterate on tools that enable self-service, observability, automation, and scalable operations. The ideal candidate blends strong product instincts with technical depth in cloud platforms and data, and has experience turning ambiguous problems into measurable outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the product vision, strategy and roadmap for internal tooling and platform services that support engineering, data and operations teams.Collaborate with engineering, data platform, SRE, security and business stakeholders to gather requirements, run discovery, and translate needs into prioritized features and epics.Define clear success metrics, KPIs and SLAs for internal products; use data and user feedback to measure impact and iterate on solutions.Drive end-to-end delivery: write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and work with engineering to ensure timely, high-quality releases.Design and prioritize self-service capabilities (provisioning, CI/CD, monitoring, cost optimization, access controls) to reduce manual toil and scale team productivity.Ensure strong platform integrations on GCP (and other cloud providers as needed) and work with platform engineers to make APIs, libraries, and tools reliable and easy to adopt.Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to build tooling for data discovery, pipelines, observability and data governance that enable faster experimentation and trusted analytics.Coordinate security, compliance and operational readiness activities, including support for compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP) when applicable.Evaluate and select third-party tools and vendors; drive cost-benefit analyses and manage vendor relationships for internal tooling components.Support and triage high-impact incidents and postmortems; identify systemic improvements to prevent recurrence and improve platform reliability.Communicate roadmap, trade-offs and outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional teams; evangelize platform value and adoption.Mentor and influence other product managers and engineers on best practices for building internal developer- and operator-facing products.Qualifications5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years focused on internal tools, platform or developer productivity products.Proven experience working with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP); familiarity with core platform services (compute, networking, identity, storage, serverless) and platform engineering patterns.Strong data fluency: experience partnering with data engineering, analytics or data platform teams and using metrics and telemetry to drive product decisions.Technical background sufficient to collaborate closely with engineers (experience as a software engineer or technical PM is a plus); comfortable reading architecture diagrams, APIs and system designs.Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end, working with distributed teams and competing priorities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experience influencing senior leaders and engineering teams without direct authority.Experience defining product metrics, SLAs and observability for platform services; comfortable using SQL and analytics tools to analyze adoption and impact.Familiarity with agile development practices, writing clear PRDs/user stories, and running discovery/experimentation.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Required skills: Product Manager, Internal tools, GCP, Platform, Data.Nice-to-have: experience with AWS, modern Data Platform technologies, AI and agentic AI concepts, hands-on software engineering or Python experience, previous Technical Product Manager roles, and exposure to FedRAMP or other cloud compliance frameworks.BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionPTO401k w/ matchPotential for RSUs
