The Hydro Vac Truck Operator is responsible for operating vacuum excavation equipment to expose and remove dirt, soil, debris, and other materials from water meter pits. This role is essential for performing safe and efficient excavations, particularly in areas with sensitive underground utilities.

Key Responsibilities: *you will be working outside - 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday*

• Must be able to start work ASAP (start date 9/21, Alamo Heights, TX)
• Operate a hydro vac truck to safely expose underground utilities and remove soil or debris.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck and equipment.
• Navigate to and from job sites using GPS or directions provided by management.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photos and documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and working in the field.
• Communicate effectively with field supervisors, clients, and other crew members.
• Assist with general labor duties on job sites when not operating the hydro vac truck.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required depending on local regulations).
• Prior experience driving a F250 style truck (quarter ton truck)
• Prior experience operating hydro vac trucks or similar excavation equipment is highly preferred.
• Strong awareness of job site safety and underground utility locating practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform  physical labor.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work with a team
