The Field Canvasser is responsible for daily door knocking shifts in assigned turf. This is a part-time, hourly, temporary position through Election Day 2026. Hourly rates begin at $20.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with registered voters in meaningful, one-on-one conversations at their door
• Complete daily walking shifts of 50-60 doors
• Work both individually and within a team environment to set and accomplish daily campaign goals
• Train and debrief daily with a manager
• Assist with preparation of walk packets, phonebanking, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• People of all experience levels and backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Commitment to progressive politics and policies
• Ability to walk for long periods of time
• Great communication skills, professional decorum and demeanor
• Ability to read and synthesize scripted information
• Reliable daily access to transportation
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Prince George's County, Montgomery County, and Baltimore City
