Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC charting system is required - PICC and/or bedside procedural experience Description: The role involves caring for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of nursing experience. The position requires knowledge and skills related to interventional radiology nursing. Nurses will assist with central line insertion and management. Candidates will participate in various procedures and manage emergency medications. Experience with infection prevention and the interpretation/management of dysrhythmias is essential. Nursing staff will monitor procedural sedation and manage reversal agents. The role includes working with interdisciplinary support teams. Nurses will care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The expected patient diagnoses include cancer-related conditions. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to float as needed. Strong communication skills are essential for effective patient care.
