Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Clinical Fellow
Abbott
The Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy clinical program at St. Jude is a high-volume transplant and cellular therapy service that serves a diverse pediatric, adolescent and young adult patient population. We conduct approximately 100 transplants per year, consisting of both autologous and allogeneic donors, for a variety of malignant and non-malignant disease indications. BMTCT also provides a cellular therapy program, which includes the use of viral specific T-cells (VSTs), chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) engineered T-cells and gene therapy products.
As a clinical fellow in our Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BMTCT) program, you will advance patient care and conduct research in one of the largest pediatric BMTCT programs in the world. Faculty in the St. Jude BMTCT program have been pioneers in the field for over 30 years. Our department consists of extremely active research and clinical programs, both of which provide trainees with exposure to standard and cutting-edge approaches in the field. You will treat a high volume of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a multidisciplinary environment. You will also be part of a cohort of clinical fellows across numerous pediatric sub-specialties, including: hematology/oncology, pharmaceutical, psychosocial and infectious diseases.
St. Jude offers highly competitive stipends (currently 24% above NIH levels), health benefits (i.e., medical, prescription, dental, vision), and a professional development allowance.
Fellows receive a professional development allowance, research allowance, a personal computer for use during the fellowship, tuition assistance, dependent care assistance, moving allowance, an employer-contributed retirement savings plan, an onsite health and fitness facility, flexible health and dependent care savings accounts, medical, dental and vision insurance (cost shared), and disability, long term disability, and group life insurance. Memphis offers a relaxed, affordable lifestyle with excellent cultural and recreational amenities.

Eligible applicants will have completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology prior to BMTCT start date. International applicants must be ECFMG certified.
