We are seeking a full-time SOC Operator to work:
-Wednesdays: 845pm-3am
-Thurs/Fri: 845pm-530am
-Sat/Sun: 1045pm-7am

Previous experience in customer service, call centers, CCTV monitoring, security, loss prevention or related law enforcement field is highly desired

• Coordinate responses to identified security events on a client’s site and contact the appropriate emergency service(s) to respond to a verified security event as needed
• To monitor various sites by watching video snippets and/or live video feed.
• Identify potential threats and risks of the sites
• To communicate through a standard escalation model
• Record pertinent monitoring events for archiving and investigation (identification, escalation, resolution, etc.)
• Ensure the quality of the existing alarm and that alarm volume is at a manageable level
• Ensure all systems are online, noting any malfunctions and notify the Monitoring Center supervisor of all issues
• Communicate with Monitoring Center for any alarm related issues
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocols
• Contribute to team effectiveness by keeping informed and sharing knowledge and technical skills
• Safeguard all confidential information whilst exercising due care to prevent its improper disclosure or use
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Computer literate and excellent knowledge of video monitoring software used

Working Conditions

• Office environment, IN-PERSON
• Must be able to work 10-12-hour shifts
• Must be able to work overnights and weekends
