Now hiring Substance BHT/Driver for our Outpatient Program located in Metairie, LA! All shifts available! What You’ll Do Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.) Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff Record and upscale any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.) Monitor transportation schedule, safely transporting clients for admit, discharge and appointments as necessary Collect and deliver all external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary Engage clients on peer support level during transport, and assist with any luggage Ensure vehicle is well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use at all times What We’re Looking For High School diploma or GED preferred Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality Dignified character that models recovery principles Minimum 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred Extensive knowledge of all motor vehicle laws Where You’ll Work Avenues Extended Care is an intensive outpatient facility offering outpatient clinical drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
