Jefferson Health - Lehigh Valley is seeking a full-time OB-GYN Hospitalist/Laborist to join our team at Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)-Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an OB-GYN who enjoys the fast-paced environment of Labor & Delivery and wants to practice alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team while maintaining access to the resources of a large, nationally recognized health system.

As an OB Hospitalist/Laborist, you will work closely with midwives, general OB-GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, residents, and medical students . You will also have immediate access to the resources of Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital , including a Level IV NICU and pediatric medical and surgical specialists.

For physicians who enjoy academics, our Laborists serve as primary teaching faculty for OB-GYN residents and medical students , providing an opportunity to make education an important part of your practice.

You'll also have opportunities to participate in clinical research, quality and patient safety initiatives, education, and healthcare administration based on your individual interests.

• Competitive base salary plus performance/productivity incentives

Practice Within a Growing OB-GYN Network

Jefferson Health - Lehigh Valley's OB-GYN enterprise extends across 30 service sites in 11 counties , providing comprehensive preventive, gynecologic, and obstetric care throughout eastern Pennsylvania.

The network includes five Family Birth and Newborn Centers , giving physicians the resources and support of an extensive women's health program while practicing at LVH-Cedar Crest.

Qualifications

Candidates should be board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Pennsylvania medical license . Ideally, candidates will have 3-5 years of clinical obstetrics experience .

Physicians completing residency who are interested in building their careers in an OB Hospitalist/Laborist model are also encouraged to explore the opportunity, particularly given the additional compensation available to physicians who sign while still in postgraduate training.
