Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Flushing, NY Pay Rate:

$32/hr on W2 Schedule: Monday Friday | 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (May occasionally vary to 8:00 AM 4:00 PM based on department needs) Contract: 9 Weeks with possible extension Key Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, and medical history.

Assist providers with outpatient procedures, including biopsies, dressing changes, Pap smears, and sterile procedure setup.

Perform venipuncture and collect, label, and process patient specimens.

Provide wound care, suture removal, and follow-up patient communication.

Prepare patient charts, maintain clinical supplies, and support daily clinic operations.

Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR.

Support providers in a fast-paced multi-specialty outpatient clinic, including GYN Oncology, OB/GYN, and surgical specialties.

Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (3+ years preferred).

Experience in a multi-specialty outpatient clinic preferred.

GYN Oncology, OB/GYN, or surgical specialty experience preferred.

High School Diploma or GED.

Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program.

Epic EMR experience required.

Current BLS Certification.

CMA or RMA certification preferred.

Required Skills Patient rooming and vital signs.

Assisting with outpatient procedures.

Epic EMR documentation.

Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment.
