Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Primary Care - Tacoma, WA

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to serve the Tacoma/Olympia territory, promoting pharmaceutical products to medical professionals and managing customer relationships. The role requires frequent territory travel and combines clinical product knowledge with sales execution and payer navigation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical product knowledge and benefits to medical professionals, driving appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer accounts, customize discussions based on customer needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze sales activity effectiveness and territory performance, providing feedback to District Manager on strategy
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve as a sales representative

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with 4+ years sales experience OR High school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years sales and/or clinical healthcare experience
• Frequent driving ability within Washington territory; local residency or reasonable commuting distance preferred
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills focused on sales outcomes
• Knowledge of specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, inflammation, or rheumatology preferred
