Environmental Planner III

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planner III to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating environmental planning projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and impact studies, collaborating closely with various stakeholders including government agencies, community groups, and private developers. Your expertise will be essential in preparing reports, proposals, and presentations, while also facilitating public meetings to address community concerns and gather input. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science, urban planning, or a related field, with at least five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in GIS software and other analytical tools is essential for data analysis and visualization. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively articulate complex environmental issues. Additionally, familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes, along with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, will be crucial for success in this role.
