Process Engineer

Process EngineerNorth America Tech Deploy (NA TD) team is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our team. The Process Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, optimizing deployment processes, and ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of fulfillment center technologies across North America. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to deliver scalable solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency in technology deployments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and is passionate about using data-driven approaches to solve complex operational challenges.Key job responsibilities:Develop, document, and maintain standard work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation for technology installations and deploymentsAnalyze deployment data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvementLead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve deployment cycle timesPartner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on deployment standards and best practicesConduct site visits to observe installations, gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, and validate process adherenceDrive lessons learned processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented across the networkManage escalations related to process deviations and coordinate resolution with stakeholder teamsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Operations Research, or related fieldsExperience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent3+ years of experience in process engineering, process improvement, or operational excellence within a manufacturing, logistics, or technology deployment environmentExperience with value stream mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologiesProficiency in data analysis and metrics development to measure process performanceExperience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholder teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Operations Research, or related fieldsLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationExperience with change management and driving tool/process adoption across organizationsFamiliarity with robotics, automation, or MHE technologiesPMP or equivalent project management certification
