Demonstrate clear ownership of multiple simultaneous customer accounts across a variety of technical stacks and act as a technical leader. Proactively identify and articulate best practices and improvements to customers on how to best leverage their cloud data platforms. Skillfully navigate complex customer environments to build Epics, Stories, and Tasks that mature and improve customer data platforms. Delegate to and coach Engineers, ensuring successful and timely delivery of technical milestones. Provide thought leadership by recommending the right technologies and approaches to ensure performance, security, scalability, and user satisfaction. Continually find ways to automate and optimize existing processes. Required Experience Extensive experience providing architectural guidance and operational support across a large user base for cloud-native data warehouses. Expertise with cloud-native data technologies in major cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).Production support experience in large enterprise environments supporting cloud data platforms and a variety of cloud data technologies. Strong working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries. Proven experience learning new technology stacks and training team members. Professional track record of creating, challenging, and improving processes and procedures. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills, including database administration. Ability to create and deliver detailed presentations. Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience Production or database administration experience and certifications in core data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hadoop, Databricks).Production experience working with cloud and distributed data storage technologies. Production experience working with data integration, streaming, and ingestion technologies. Production experience working with workflow management and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).Working experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).Strong expertise with scripting languages (such as Python) to automate repetitive tasks. Well-versed in continuous integration and deployment frameworks with hands-on experience using CI/CD tools. Experience serving as a technical team lead.
