CV Interventional Tech I

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CV Interventional Tech I to join our dynamic cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during cardiovascular interventional procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This full-time position requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, interventional equipment, and sterile techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain interventional labs and equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular interventions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes during procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Education and experience requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred, but the employee has one year to obtain the certification if the ACLS is a first time endeavor.
• Certification from the ARRT as an RT(R)(CV), RT(R)(CI) or RT(R)(VI) and licensure by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
• OR Certification from the CIC for RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required or must be obtained within 24 months of employment.
• Maintenance of 12 contact hours of education every year.
