Job Description
MRI Technologist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality MRI scans and provide exceptional care to patients while ensuring safety protocols are followed. This position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs, with a primary schedule of Monday to Thursday from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and a Friday shift that may be assigned as either day or evening. Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI examinations on patients following established protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Explain procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to improve skills.
- Assist with other imaging tasks as needed.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in imaging.
- Certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) or ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
