Job Title: Pediatric Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) 
Location: 2211 Executive Dr., Hampton, VA (Outpatient Clinic)

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct behavioral services to children in the clinic setting.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Teach and reinforce appropriate replacement behaviors and functional skills.
• Support development of communication, socialization, self-help, daily living, and adaptive skills.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral strategies, including prompting, modeling, reinforcement, shaping, and task analysis.
• Collect accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data during each session.
• Complete accurate and timely session documentation.
• Follow behavior protocols and report changes in behavior or progress to the supervising BCBA.
• Assist with skill and preference assessments as directed by the supervising clinician.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, structured, and therapy-ready environment.
• Participate in required supervision, staff meetings, training, and continuing competency requirements.
• Follow HIPAA requirements, company policies, ethical standards, and clinical directives.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• Completion of a 40-hour RBT Training Course.
• Successful completion of the RBT Competency Assessment.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Ability to successfully complete required state and federal background checks.
• Active CPR/BLS certification as required.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a BCBA and as part of a pediatric care team.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of providing pediatric behavioral services.
