Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Contract)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

4 weekend shifts per schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to manage varied patient acuity levels and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assist in performing critical interventions including cardioversion and moderate sedation.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all unit policies and procedures in alignment with HCA standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current certifications: ALS, BLS, TNCC, and ENPC (or PALS).
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience is required.
• Preferred: 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
