Our client in Painesville is seeking a CNC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring instruments, and producing high-quality machined components while maintaining production and quality standards. Based on current Accurate Metal Machining postings, experience with CNC machining, blueprint reading, and inspection equipment is highly desired.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Operate CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
- Load materials and tooling into machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job routers, and work instructions.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Monitor production runs and make basic machine adjustments or offsets.
- Change tooling as needed and verify dimensional accuracy.
- Complete production and quality documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
- Previous CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools.
- Basic understanding of CNC controls and machining processes.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
- Fanuc controls experience.
- CNC setup experience.
- GD&T knowledge.
- Aerospace, defense, or precision machining experience.

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 25-5 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling.
- Work in a manufacturing environment around machinery.
