Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in San Jose, California. This role involves providing specialized care for mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a hospital setting. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working night shifts and managing high-acuity maternity cases.

Job Details:

Location: San Jose, California
Shift Time: Nights
Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Start Date: 08/18/2026
Certificatons: Basic Life Support (BLS), California Nursing License required
Data Collection: Unit Information: Labor & Delivery Location, 10-bed unit, staffed with approximately 120 personnel, including charge nurses, unit clerks, scrub techs, and registered nurses
Typical Procedures: Deliveries, Cesarean sections, and other Labor & Delivery related cases
Schedule: Rotating weekends based on CBAGeneral
Additional Information: Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Candidates without the required certifications and experience will not be considered.
