You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.In this position...You will be responsible for promoting a positive environment of culture, communication and employee recognition.ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...Lead Maintenance and engineering teams in production scheduling, staffing, procurement and maintenance of Stamping Department equipmentLead Project Writing and process of collecting and evaluating data in sound business casesCoach, Counsel and Teach the team's GSR's to handle and lead multi-dollar projectsCoordinates the resources and activities of ME organization to meet the production schedule within budgetary limitations and time constraintsParticipates in production scheduling, staffing, procurement and maintenance of equipment, quality control, inventory control, and the coordination of production activities with those of other departmentsAnalyzes the plant's personnel and capital resources to select the best ways of meeting the production quotaMonitors the production run to make sure that it stays on schedule and correct any problems that may arisePromotes and ensure constant improvement in the ME organization toward the common goal of improving product quality, plant competitiveness and total cost structureEnsures department complies with government/industry standardsCoordinate the resources and activities required to ensure problem free start-upFacilitate start-up / shift to shift meetingsEvaluate and deliver FTPM measurablePromote and support Small Team Work GroupsChampion constraint analysis and coordinate activities to eliminate the bottlenecksEnsure deliverables are aligned with VIM Action Matrix, 5-year plan, JPH PackageEstablish the goal of maximizing equipment effectiveness to improve productivityReview/approve PM activitiesAddress department Health and Safety concernsReview department safety measurables & coordinate improvement activitiesDrive SQCDMMEManage to budgetsQualificationsYou'll have...HS Diploma or Equivalent5 years in maintenance or engineeringExcellent leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to interact with all employees in the organizationStrong working knowledge of the Ford Production SystemDemonstrated ability to work as a teamDemonstrated ability to lead, empower and develop employeesDemonstrated conflict management skillsStrong analytical, problem solving, and organization skillsAbility to work closely and successfully with others in order to deliver resultsSuccessful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in ONE FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skillsEven better, you may have...Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or 5 years' experience working in Automotive Stamping Maintenance Operations.Some experience in ProductionIn depth experience in assembly manufacturing processesStrong communication and problem solving skills, including working knowledge of Six SigmaExperience: Experience leading Maintenance in Automotive Stamping OperationsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principlesStrong negotiation and persuasion skillsKnowledge of constraint management principlesSafety and Quality experience preferredPrior experience managing a unionized work forceMicrosoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
