Social Media Coordinator

SpaLife is hiring a Social Media Manager to turn Instagram and TikTok into real community growth channels for our unapologetically fun skincare and self care brand. This role owns social strategy, the content calendar, and community management, reporting to our E-commerce and Marketing Manager within a team that includes our Multimedia Producer, Senior Graphic Designer, and Marketing associate. Day to day, that means sourcing and coordinating UGC, prepping in-house assets for posting, and working hand in hand with our Multimedia Producer to keep content moving from raw footage to published post. Location: Edison, NJ. Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote each week. What you\'ll do Own the day to day: plan, write, and post content across Instagram and TikTok, and keep our voice consistent everywhere it shows up. Set the strategy for our organic community growth. Decide our content pillars, posting cadence, and how each platform supports our broader campaigns and product launches. Build and balance the calendar: mix always on content with campaign specific pushes, and adjust the plan as trends and results come in. Push for outside the box thinking in the content strategy you set. No idea is too bold for SpaLife\'s creative team, the bolder the better. Bring an SEO first mindset to everything you write across our social channels. Creative and Content Development Partner with our Multimedia Producer and Senior Graphic Designer to execute the content you plan and the strategy you set. Turn raw UGC and produced footage from our content library into finished, on brand posts. Bring new formats and platform trends to the team early, with a point of view on whether SpaLife should be doing them. Creators and Community Source, vet, and manage influencer and creator relationships, from outreach through delivery, including gifting and collaborations. Own community management: respond to comments and DMs, monitor mentions, and continuously engage with our audience. Performance and Insight Track what\'s working. Follow growth, engagement, and reach across both platforms, and connect that back to site traffic and sales where you can. Turn results into actionable insights and a clear point of view on what we should do next, not just a monthly report. Share findings with the wider marketing team so what you learn on social shapes decisions beyond it. Work closely with our Ecommerce and Marketing Manager on how social supports broader brand campaigns and launches. Coordinate with the Marketing team so social, email, and our other channels are telling the same story at the same time. Qualifications BS in marketing, advertising, communication, or related fields. 2 to 3 years running organic social for a brand, ideally in beauty, skincare, or another consumer space. You are a fluent creative copywriter who goes beyond what AI gives you as final copy. Real fluency in how Instagram and TikTok work, with a track record of growing an account on both. Direct experience working with influencers or creators, from first outreach through delivered content. Experience filming and editing content for social media formats. Comfort with social analytics and reporting, whether through native platform insights or a tool like Sprout Social, Later, Dash Hudson, or Hootsuite. You know how to turn data into a clear point of view, not just a report. Comfortable in a small, fast moving team where the plan can change by the afternoon. Nice to have Experience in the beauty or CPG industry. Personality and skills to be on camera. You follow social media and beauty culture closely, and have opinions on how brands should show up online. Base Pay Range: $60,000 to $75,000 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience.
