ERP Program Lead (Part-Time)

Remote or Hybrid - Bay Area

We are seeking an experienced ERP Consultant to lead the selection, configuration, and early implementation of a modern ERP system as we formalize financial and procurement operations across a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing ERP in hardware, semiconductor, or complex capital equipment environments; and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup with evolving priorities. This is a part-time consulting engagement starting at approximately 5 hours per week, with a clear path to full-time employment as the system and company scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current-state procurement, cost tracking, and vendor workflows across a hardware development and production ramp environment
• Lead requirements gathering and guide tool evaluation (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, ODOO, or alternatives)
• Establish the ERP as the single source of truth for orders, receipts, inventory location, costs, payment status, obligations, and projected cash flow
• Design scalable processes for purchase orders, purchase requests, vendor onboarding, multi-million dollar component and contract tracking, and budget approval workflows
• Define integration boundaries between the ERP and any existing engineering systems (Teamcenter/PLM, JAMA/Requirements management, Primavera P6/Project scheduling)
• Support integration with other boundary systems as appropriate
• Support the development of reporting structures and spending dashboards aligned to hardware build and production ramp timelines
• Operate in a matrixed environment, collaborating closely with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams, working in parallel toward shared implementation goals

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven ERP implementation experience in hardware, semiconductor, or complex capital equipment environments
• Strong background in procurement workflows, vendor management, and PO/PR process design, with exposure to $10M+ in procurement or contract spend
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, ODOO, and other alternatives
• Experience defining integration points with engineering systems such as Teamcenter, JAMA, and Primavera P6
• Ability to scope and deliver core functionality on a 6-9 month timeline
• Comfortable in a startup environment with rapidly evolving needs
• Open to a part-time start with interest in full-time conversion

The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between USD $70 - 85/hour. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. Geographical factors may also be a consideration. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of benefits.
