Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc.) is seeking a Contract RN, Oncology for a W2 Contract position based in Los Angeles, CA. Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts, Day shift Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks Compensation: This position offers an hourly rate of $37 to $41, totaling approximately $1,332 to $1,475 per week (based on a 5-day workweek). Per Diems include lodging ($191/day) and Meals & Incidentals ($86/day), paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,939 per week. Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems): Between $3,271 to $3,414 per week. Summary: Provides specialized, compassionate care to adult oncology patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering chemotherapy and supportive treatments, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Emphasizes patient education, symptom management, and emotional support throughout cancer care. Ideal candidates demonstrate clinical excellence in oncology, critical thinking, and a commitment to high-quality, culturally sensitive care within Kaiser Permanente's integrated model. Essential Functions: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for oncology patients. Coordinate multidisciplinary care and patient/family education. Ensure documentation aligns with current assessments, patient acuity, and cultural considerations. Act as a clinical leader, applying the nursing process to deliver high-quality oncology care. Qualifications: Minimum 1–2 years of oncology nursing experience required. BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. About Healthcare Executive Placements Inc.
