Senior C++ Engineer
Our client, a leading financial services organization specializing in electronic trading and low latency trading systems, is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior C++ Engineer, you will be part of the Equities Engines Department supporting high-performance trading applications.
What's the Job?
- Enhance and support core trading applications such as Smart Order Router and Crossing Engine platforms
- Develop and optimize C++ frameworks and features for low latency trading systems
- Diagnose issues, troubleshoot bugs, and improve overall application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, quantitative, QA, and technology
- Design technical solutions based on detailed requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation
What's Needed?
- 7+ years of experience working on enterprise-scale low-latency trading applications primarily using C++ in a Linux environment
- Broad exposure to well-known C++ libraries and low-latency tuning techniques such as CPU/memory optimization and kernel bypass technologies
- Practical experience within electronic trading environments, preferably in investment banking or similar sectors
- Strong automation mindset across the software development lifecycle, especially around shift-left testing
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
