Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working with school-age children is highly desired
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of students, from mild to moderate caseloads
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ communication needs
• Create and deliver therapy sessions, both individual and group, in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, assessments, and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
