FSP CRA 2 & Sr. CRA - Ophthalmology - Remote US

Fortrea seeks an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate with ophthalmology expertise to monitor clinical trial sites across major US regions. The role involves site management, protocol compliance verification, data integrity oversight, and serious adverse event reporting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and close-out monitoring of clinical trial sites, including initiation visits and file maintenance
- Verify informed consent procedures and protocol adherence to regulatory requirements
- Review Case Report Forms for data accuracy, completeness, and generate queries against established guidelines
- Report and manage serious adverse events including documentation and follow-up narratives
- Serve as local project coordinator and client contact for assigned clinical projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certification in allied health profession (e.g., nursing licensure)
- 3+ years of clinical monitoring experience
- Ophthalmology expertise
- Willingness to travel 30-50% overnight, including domestic and occasional international
- Proficiency with electronic data capture and clinical trial management systems
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
Compensation: $130,000–$142,000 base
