Speech Therapist Location: Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster Shift: Per diem Rate: Up to $60 an hour, weekly pay About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team at Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload, and participate in the clinical team process. Responsibilities: Screens patients/residents and evaluates them for rehabilitation services Develops and implements individualized rehabilitation plans Provides direct patient/resident treatment and consultation Participates in the clinical team process and contributes to quality improvement activities Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers Demonstrates ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field Requirements: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy Current licensure by the applicable state agency Two (2) years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skills Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary Excellent hearing and verbal skills required for directing staff, customer relations, and marketing activities Manual dexterity required for documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and for direct patient care Benefits: Weekly Pay Holiday & Overtime Pay Career Advancement Opportunities Exclusive Employer Discount Program 401(k) with Employer Match Available for Full-Time Staff: Employer-Paid Life Insurance Vacation and Personal Time Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
