Custodian, Janitor - _ START ASAP!_

Nawa Professional Services is hiring dependable and detail oriented part-time Custodian/Janitor in Kalamazoo, MI. This position involves providing high-quality cleaning services in a residential setting and is ideal for someone who values attention to detail and takes pride in their work.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00AM - 5:30PM

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash.
• Cleaning restrooms, common areas, and other areas of building.
• Lift, move, and rearrange furniture and equipment as needed.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful presences while working.
• Delivering quality results while meeting cleaning standards.
• Following all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of janitorial/ cleaning experience in a school/university or food production environment.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must pass a background check with no pending or past criminal charges and a drug test (including for THC)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and provide I-9/E-Verify documentation.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Team-player attitude and willingness to take direction
