As a Digital Marketing Designer supporting the EMEA region, you will be a critical driver of Ria's paid digital growth across one of the company's most diverse and dynamic markets. Based in Madrid, you will collaborate closely with regional marketing leaders, growth teams, and the brand design team to produce high-impact paid media creative at scale across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Motion design is a core requirement of this role, and proficiency with AI-powered creative tools is essential to deliver the volume, quality, and cultural relevance that EMEA's breadth of markets demands. You will be responsible for producing thousands of paid media assets across multiple markets, languages, and platforms — while maintaining brand consistency and pushing creative performance forward.Roles & Responsibilities
Drive Paid Media Creative at Scale- Develop, iterate, and execute creative assets primarily for paid digital channels, including paid social, programmatic display, video ads, search display, and performance marketing campaigns across EMEA markets.
- Design and produce high volumes of paid media creative variants tailored to A/B testing, audience segmentation, country, and language requirements across a highly diverse regional landscape.
- Build motion-led ad creative — including animated social ads, video bumpers, short-form video, and rich media display — optimized for performance across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google Display Network, Snapchat, and other paid platforms relevant to EMEA audiences.
- Design static paid media assets (banners, carousels, still ads) that are scalable and production-ready across multiple formats, sizes, and aspect ratios.
- Ensure all paid creative is optimized for platform specifications, audience behavior, and conversion — with a strong understanding of the relationship between creative quality and performance outcomes.
- Occasionally contribute to brick-and-mortar and omni-channel campaigns where paid digital and physical touchpoints intersect across EMEA markets.
- Leverage AI tools (such as Claude, Gemini, Sora, ComfyUI, or equivalent) as a core part of your creative workflow to generate imagery, video content, and concept iterations at speed and scale.
- Use AI to accelerate asset localization, background generation, image variation, and video production for multi-market, multi-language campaigns across the EMEA region.
- Stay current with the evolving AI creative toolset and proactively introduce new capabilities that improve team output, creative quality, and production efficiency.
- Design engaging creative assets for CRM channels, including email campaigns, push notifications, and in-app messaging, ensuring visual consistency with paid media efforts and brand standards.
- Collaborate with CRM and lifecycle marketing teams to produce tailored creative for retention, re-engagement, and promotional campaigns across EMEA markets.
- Work hand-in-hand with the brand design team to ensure paid media creative aligns with Ria's visual systems and contributes to cohesive, scalable design libraries.
- Partner with regional growth and performance marketing teams to translate campaign briefs into high-converting creative executions relevant to EMEA audiences.
- Contribute to omni-channel campaigns in collaboration with brand and field marketing teams when EMEA markets require integrated physical and digital executions.
- Apply Ria's visual identity and brand guidelines consistently across all paid digital channels and markets throughout EMEA.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-documented file structure to enable smooth collaboration, versioning, and handoffs across global teams.
- Keep up with the latest trends in paid media creative, motion design, and AI-assisted content production, with awareness of EMEA-specific platform behaviors and audience preferences.
- Monitor paid creative performance through analytics and platform insights, using data to inform and continuously evolve creative strategy.
Position Requirements
- A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Motion Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a design studio, advertising agency, or in-house creative team with a focus on paid digital media — or a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional skill and output equivalent to this experience.
- Proven expertise in motion design and video animation for paid digital platforms; this is a mandatory core skill for this role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI creative tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Sora, ComfyUI, or similar) as part of an active production workflow — not just familiarity.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Proficiency in Figma for design collaboration and asset production.
- Strong experience producing paid media assets across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google Display, Snapchat, and other platforms relevant to EMEA markets.
- Experience designing CRM creative, including email, push, and in-app assets.
- Solid understanding of digital design principles including responsive formats, accessibility, and platform-specific specifications.
- Ability to manage high-volume asset production across multiple markets, languages, and creative variants simultaneously — with sensitivity to cultural nuance across a diverse regional market.
- A sharp eye for typography, color, layout, and design aesthetics that serve both brand and performance goals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative decisions and collaborate effectively across marketing, brand, and growth teams.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional EMEA languages (Spanish, French, Arabic, or others) is a strong advantage.
