Maintenance Technician- 1st shift

Maintenance TechnicianThis position will directly report to the Maintenance Managers and work with all Management, Production and Maintenance personnel. This position is primarily responsible for performing building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs as necessary. Responsible for compliance with safety and all other company policies, SQF regulations and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. Essential job duties include diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures, performing advanced preventative maintenance on machines and building as assigned daily, maintaining inventory of repair equipment and supplies, and ensuring safe use of equipment. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and welding are beneficial. This is a first and second shift position. Qualifications include basic reasoning and thinking skills, ability to operate skid loaders and pallet jacks, communication and intrapersonal skills, basic computer skills able to use preventative maintenance software, and physical requirements to stoop, kneel, crawl and bend. Lift 50 – 100lb.
