Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist
Our organization is looking for a committed Speech Language Pathologist to become a part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing among elderly residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding communication and swallowing challenges.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
This role is situated in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, where you will engage with a diverse group of senior residents and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team.
