Extremely low rates for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Solid overall benefits package./ph3Route Driver Overview/h3pStarts/ends daily in Grand Forks. The route will start in the early morning hours (generally around 4:30am) and end early to mid-afternoon. The end time varies by day as some days are bigger order days than others, and most drivers average of 45-50 hours per week. Route drivers start the morning picking up the packed trailer and follow the delivery route given. At each stop, there will be some building of the loads to take in to the customer which requires attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets, working with the customer on where to place their products, getting required signatures, and developing relationships with these repeat customers./ph3Shuttle Driver Overview/h3pPull two empty trailers from our Grand Forks depot to the Fargo warehouse, move con gear to drop off and pick up two full trailers, and pull the two full trailers back to Grand Forks. This is a great evening route for anyone looking for a drop and hook driving position. Drivers work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, so you have the weekend to yourself! General start time is approximately 6pm./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliAccurately, safely, and efficiently deliver merchandise using hand-trucks, ramps and/or lift gates to customers on a predetermined delivery route. May include delivering products up and down stairs and in all types of weather./liliOperate all working equipment safely and efficiently, including but not limited to hand truck, pallet jack, scanner and printer./liliProvide the highest level of service and product integrity for every customer by safe and timely delivery of customer orders./liliDeliver and stack merchandise on customer premises./liliAccurately record delivery by verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures at the time of delivery./liliPractice Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines to reduce risks for crashes, injuries and fatalities./liliUtilize onboard computer to appropriately record mileage, hours of service and maintain driver log to adhere to state and federal Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines./liliComplete comprehensive pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and DVIRs./liliMaintain legal weight limits and distributions./liliPractice defensive driving skills and proper body mechanics to ensure safe driving and delivering practices./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3pOverall/pulliSafe driving record with a current, valid CDL Class-A License is required./liliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred./liliMust be at least 21 years old./liliTwo years foodservice delivery experience preferred./liliTwo years verifiable driving experience preferred./liliAbility to read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations./liliAbility to work independently./liliBuild and maintain trusted relationships with all customers by providing face-to-face service with each delivery./liliAbility to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations is required./liliAbility to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical abilities test is required./li/ulpPhysical/pulliFrequent stand/walk during delivery activities./liliFrequent sitting throughout work shift./liliFrequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 65 lbs., rarely up to 100 lbs., 3-4 feet from pallet to hand truck to off load area./liliFrequent push/pulling frequently up to 175 lbs., and occasionally up to 200 lbs. using both hands/arms, to transport loaded hand truck up/down curbs and stairs./liliFrequent steering and maneuvering gear controls and clutch to safely drive vehicle./liliIn truck cab, trailer, or customer location 80% of the time, exposure to outdoors during delivery 20% of the time./liliHazards include: moving vehicles, equipment, slippery surfaces, noise, exhaust fumes and exposure to various weather conditions during delivery activities./li/ulpEqual Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/Vets/Disabled./ppHJH Logistics works exclusively with Cash-Wa Distributing of Fargo and delivers to their customers.
