- Responsible for accurate releasing of raw materials to suppliers.
- Review coverage reports to ensure consistent material availability for production areas.
- Responsible for weekly truck schedule.
- Responsible for production planning and scheduling.
- Responsible for the accurate maintenance of raw material inventory receipts and records and timely entry of receipts into the business system.
- Monitor delivery performance of raw materials suppliers and trucking companies.
- Minimum three to five (5) years' experience in materials/leadership role.
- Good computer skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to assume responsibility. Results focused.
- Understanding/Experience with Material Planning / Releasing.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Knowledge / Experience with QAD preferred.
- Inventory Management, BOM and Cycle Count experience preferred.
- While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, product, or equipment.
- The colleague is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms in repairing fixing, welding, or conducting inspection.
- The colleague must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
