Position Overview and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental needs and adheres to the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other members of the healthcare team, the RN provides tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care utilizing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and clinical results that enhance overall departmental performance.

• Conducts procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as directed by medical providers. Records care administration in the patient’s medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, simplifying complex medical terms for better understanding.
• Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-medical follow-up actions, such as healthy eating, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications, preparing them for future self-management.
• Implements evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to meet and surpass quality standards, enhancing the exceptional care provided to patients.
• Ensures quality of care by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, customize, and deliver a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery.

Required Qualifications:

• • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate Degree
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or instructor status must be obtained within one year of starting employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or instructor status must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or instructor status must be obtained within one year of starting employment
• No travel required
• No prior experience necessary
