We're looking for an amazing Sales Agent professional to fill this role. As a Work from Home Sales Agent with Seabourn Cruise Line, you will become a resource for our guests and assist in planning the vacation of their dreams while selling a range of travel products and services. You will respond to a variety of inbound calls from direct consumers and Travel Advisors. You will utilize your superior customer service skills to build rapport, recommend and book cruises, Cruise Tours, and travel options. Providing quality customer service on all calls, you will assist direct consumers and Travel Advisors with problems that might occur on a reservation, provide post-booking sales and support and work across departments to provide seamless first call resolution. Responsibilities

• Apply professional sales techniques in the promotion and sale of cruises and Cruise Tours for direct consumers and Travel Advisors.
• Demonstrate sales effectiveness by securing deposits on reservations made, upsells and optional travel add-ons.
• Provide superior customer service; research and answer all questions/concerns related to company product and/or specifically the customer's reservation.
• Proactively assist direct consumers or Travel Advisors with problems that might occur on a reservation; work with other departments or supervisor in an effort to resolve the problem in a courteous/timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management thru both oral and written communication.
• Provide customers accurate information consistent with department standards, document customer information, recap itinerary and advise them of the correct terms and conditions.
• Work independently as a work at home agent, meeting sales and performance metrics, and adherence and availability requirements.
• Adhere to department Quality Assurance guidelines for customer contacts and utilizes feedback to improve performance and customer experience.
• Special projects as directed by the Supervisor or Manager of Contact Center Sales.

Please Note : The working hours for this role will be 8:30 AM - 5 PM PST Monday through Friday. You will also work approximately 4 Saturdays and 2 Sundays a quarter.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Internet and Work Environment:
• Cable internet service must be available where you live and meet required minimum download and upload speeds.
• No satellite internet.
• Your home must have a designated and suitable quiet work space area.
• Availability and Commitment:
• Hours for training are Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm PST.
• After successfully completing training you must be available to work an 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5 PM PST (11:30am- 8pm EST). You will be required to sign up for 6 weekend days per quarter from 7am-3:30pm PST (10am- 6:30pm est)
• Must commit to the training and the first 90 days of employment without any time off.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in computer business applications and computerized reservation systems.
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding of workplace policies and procedures
• Familiarity with team collaboration tools and techniques.
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance
• Capacity to be punctual and meet deadlines
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work as part of a team
• Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions and tasks.

• Base Hourly Range: $16/hr. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
