Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients ranging from children to elderly individuals utilizing both standardized measurements and direct behavioral observation.

• Deliver specialized one-on-one therapeutic sessions concentrating on various areas including communication, language acquisition, fluency, vocal training, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, medical professionals, and family members, to forge unified care strategies.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families, empowering them to advance progress beyond the confines of clinical encounters.
• Occasionally engage in inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a streamlined path to recovery.
• Accurately document patient information in alignment with regulatory standards and best practices.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required unless currently ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferably, acquisition of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of hire.
