Position Reports to: Facilities

Job Purpose Summary: To ensure all Agren locations are maintained, clean, and sanitary.

Position Overview

Hours- Daytime Hours, Mon-Friday

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment across our locations. This position requires a valid driver’s license, will start and end each day at the Auburn Headquarters, and will travel to other locations. This role plays a key part in ensuring our workspace, showrooms, and customer areas meet high standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.

Primary Responsibilities

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors
• Clean and sanitize all bathrooms several times a week.
• Weekly dusting of all areas, including walls, desks, furniture, hallways, and showroom appliances
• Trash removal and proper disposal

Facilities Support

• Perform minor maintenance tasks (light fixtures, sink clogs, ceiling tiles, etc.) as needed
• Safely operate and maintain equipment

Supplies & Organization

• Maintain and order cleaning and facility supplies as needed

Physical Requirements

• Frequent communication with customers and employees
• Regular lifting of 25 lbs. or more
• Regular pushing/pulling of equipment and appliances weighing 125 lbs. or more
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, gripping, and standing

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities experience preferred
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness
