Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Fulltime

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• ARDMS certification in one or more specialties (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; certificate programs considered with relevant healthcare background
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound imaging principles
• Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize subtle abnormalities and produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prior clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting is preferred, but new graduates with strong training are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview:

As a Sonographer, you'll perform various diagnostic ultrasound procedures-such as abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and general exams-following physician orders and established protocols. Working closely with radiologists, providers, and the broader care team, you'll ensure that each patient receives accurate, timely, and compassionate imaging services. This role demands strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to patient comfort and safety. You'll review and evaluate image quality, document thoroughly in the electronic health record, educate patients to ease anxiety and maintain equipment according to safety standards.
