PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking an experienced, skilled, and detail-oriented Stainless Steel Metal Polisher for a premier manufacturing client in the Haywood Rd area of Greenville, SC .

In this specialized metal finishing role, you will be responsible for grinding, buffing, polishing, and restoring stainless steel parts and assemblies to exact quality specifications. We are looking for a craftsman who takes pride in precision work, understands surface finishing techniques, and safely operates pneumatic and electric hand tools to eliminate imperfections.

Stainless Steel Polisher Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the expert grinding, buffing, and polishing of stainless steel components , ensuring finished surfaces meet high-quality aesthetic and dimensional standards.

• Surface Finishing & Polishing: Operate pneumatic and electric hand tools (grinders, buffers, sanders, and polishers) to finish, blend, and restore stainless steel surfaces.
• Defect Removal: Inspect raw and welded metal parts to systematically remove scratches, burrs, weld seams, and surface imperfections.
• Quality Auditing: Visually inspect finished products to ensure surface grain, smoothness, and polish levels strictly meet customer specifications.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain polishing hand tools, change out abrasive belts/wheels, and keep grinding equipment clean and in proper working order.
• Safety & PPE: Adhere strictly to facility safety protocols, including mandatory use of eye, ear, and respiratory protection while grinding and buffing.
• Shop Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organized work station and complete daily production orders within scheduled shift hours.

Stainless Steel Metal Polisher Requirements include:

• Required Experience: Proven experience operating grinding, buffing, and polishing tools specifically on stainless steel surfaces .
• Hand-Tool Mastery: Skilled in using pneumatic and electric hand grinders, orbital sanders, polisher wheels, and deburring equipment.
• Detail & Aesthetics: A strong visual eye for detail with the ability to detect minor scratches, pit marks, or surface inconsistencies.
• Physical Capabilities: Physical ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive arm and hand movements, and maneuver metal parts comfortably throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Work Ethic & Schedule: Dependable work history with excellent attendance and the ability to work a regular Monday through Thursday schedule.
