Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team at the Echo Cliffs location in Tuba City, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience performing general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, and small-parts imaging.
- This is a 13-week contract assignment offering a consistent four-day workweek and 10-hour shifts.
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Holiday Coverage: Required
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and departmental standards.
- Conduct general ultrasound studies, including abdominal, obstetric, and small-parts examinations .
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by physicians.
- Review patient history and relevant clinical information to ensure appropriate imaging procedures.
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care throughout examinations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable safety, quality, and infection-control standards.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Ensure ultrasound equipment is used properly and report equipment issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience performing general abdominal, OB, and small-parts ultrasound examinations .
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Willingness and ability to provide holiday coverage as required.
