Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Chicago Patient Service Center to perform blood draws, process specimens, and provide customer service. The role operates Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, and requires phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse patient populations
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and process billing with accuracy
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain documentation logs
- Provide customer service and perform administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Reliable transportation for potential multi-site work
Compensation: $17.75 - $24.50 per hour
