We seek a highly motivated, results-driven Account Executive with 2-4 years of proven financial services experience, specifically in cross-selling complex financial products (e.g., loans, credit lines, insurance) to existing customers. The primary goal is to drive revenue growth by identifying and capturing cross and up-sell opportunities within our partners’ ecosystems. This requires a deep understanding of selling financial products, small business financial needs, and a consultative approach to expanding relationships with existing SMB customers. Core Summary of Role Proficient Seller: A natural closer who can confidently navigate financial product sales cycles and uncover unmet small business needs. Experience Navigating Data For Targets: Ability to dig into data sets, partner portfolios, and user activity metrics to locate high-propensity targets for expansion. Track Record of Hitting Quota: A consistent history of meeting or exceeding revenue, cross-sell, or expansion targets in a performance-driven environment. Capable Learner: Quickly grasps complex fintech infrastructures, unique partner workflows, and evolving underwriting standards. Natural Curiosity: Driven to understand why certain metrics move, how small businesses utilize capital, and where internal processes can be optimized. Key Responsibilities Cross-Sell Execution: Develop and executedata-driven process to identify and increase adoption of capital products among existing SMB customers. Identify, introduce, and help close cross-sell opportunities in partner portfolios and execute high-conversion pipelines. Consultative Relationship Management: Conduct financial needs assessments with small business owners. Serve as the primary contact through the application and closing process for secondary products. Market & Product Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of the SMB financial landscape and competitive trends. Train internal teams and partners on product value propositions. Ability to work with Kanmon marketing team to create effective messaging and promotions. Provide feedback to Kanmon Credit/Underwriting team data necessary to effectively assess as well as customer feedback. Collaborate with Marketing on campaign effectiveness and lead quality feedback. Required Qualifications Experience: 2-4 years of successful, verifiable sales experience in financial services, banking, or a high-growth FinTech environment. Proven Performance: A documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, expansion goals, or cross-sell targets. Data Literacy: Comfort navigating basic data analytics tools, CRM reporting, or data sets to extract target customer lists and track funnel performance. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and run a consultative sales cycle with small business owners. Adaptability & Drive: A fast learner with a high degree of natural curiosity who thrives in an evolving, fast-paced startup environment.
