Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical/Oncology RN to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing care for medical and surgical patients battling cancer, with an emphasis on palliative care and family education on oncological processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for a diverse adult population, including telemetry and urology patients.
• Assist in the administration of chemotherapy and management of central lines and ports.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage PCA pumps.
• Educate families on oncology processes and palliative care approaches.
• Float within assigned duties to meet the needs of the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Current WV or Compact RN License is required (pending license accepted for submission).
• Certifications: BLS required; ONS/ONCC preferred for chemotherapy administration.
