This position requires a compassionate professional who is committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Unit Information Unit Name: Medical Unit Number of Beds: 26 Patient Ratios: 6:1 Support Staff: Technicians available Type of Equipment: Hoyer lifts, rolling computers, rolling vital signs monitors Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per month Floating Policy: May float to Surgical or Acute Rehab Preferred Experience: Some Med-Surg experience Qualifications Licensure: Active RN license required, BSN preferred Skills Required: Proficient in patient care basics, vital signs, lab limits, medication administration, and controlled substance knowledge Advanced Skills: Experience with NG/NJ tubes, chest tubes, and heparin drips Procedures Performed: Post-operative care for heart procedure patients returning from the cath lab Certifications Required: Current BLS certification Dress Code Required uniform: Navy blue scrubs (tops and bottoms).
