Allied Health Senior Lead Instructor

Job Title: Senior Lead Instructor–Allied Health Department: Education – Supervisory Summary The Lead Instructor, in addition to teaching their own courses, supports instructional staff and serves as a liaison between faculty, campus leadership, and the CSC Education team. Essential Functions Maintain a structured, professional classroom environment in compliance with institutional policies and ensure instructional preparedness, delivering high‑quality instruction in lecture, lab, and/or clinical settings aligned with approved course outlines and industry standards, using varied teaching methods to support diverse learning styles. Assist with faculty hiring, onboarding, classroom observations, and coaching to improve teaching and student success. Assist with SAP documentation and ensure all required student signatures are collected in a timely and compliant manner. Provide leadership, training, and support to allied health faculty through mentoring, training, and guidance to ensure consistent, high‑quality instruction to current standards by ensuring all activities are conducted in a legal, ethical, and compliant manner. Support allied health program success by tracking key performance measures and working with leadership to improve curriculum. Participate in meetings, professional development, and industry activities to stay current with industry standards and employer expectations. Assist with and mentor new faculty’s utilization of CANVAS, campus orientation, lesson plans and completion and grades finalized. Check with all instructors prior to the first day of class for any materials that may be needed including e‑books, textbooks, supplies, etc. Assist with classroom observations as needed. Knowledge – Skills – Abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening. Strong time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate resourcefulness and problem‑solving skills. Positive attitude toward school activities. Proficiency with basic office equipment, computers, and computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum Qualifications Three years of previous Allied Health Instructor experience. Thorough understanding and knowledge of Canvas. Working / Physical Demands May be required to work late and occasional weekends to support business needs. Extensive walking and standing (5–75%). Capability to operate a phone, computer keyboard, and other office equipment.
